Speaker: Dan Schoepf (no audio - special baptism service) A “rite of passage” is a ritual you go through to indicate a change of status. Perhaps you experienced this at confirmation or first communion or a bar mitzvah. Or maybe it happened at a freshman initiation! Baptism is also a picture of a change of status. In a sense it is a rite of passage. This weekend many are going to illustrate that change in their lives by obeying Jesus’ command concerning baptism. |
