Calvary Church - connecting people with God

Have you ever stood in a long line and wondered why some persons were ushered to the front? What privilege did they have over you? We struggle with that deeply because we consider it unfair, and we usually make some derogatory comments under our breath.

But when it comes to a connection with God the same scenario occurs. We think our position is privileged, but others seem to get favored. What gets the special treatment?

There is no question it has to do with "repentance" and "obedience"—two rather hard concepts, illustrated with Jesus’ story of the two sons.
