listen to the weekend message Have you engaged in the “Christmas wars” this season? I don’t mean the hassle at the check out or customer service desk over the last Wii available. I mean all this stuff about keeping the holidays “generic”—“Happy Holidays” vs. “Merry Christmas”; “Xmas” vs. “Christmas”; etc. Let’s take that battle to a different front. In fact, let’s stop reacting to culture for a moment and impact culture instead. Let’s help people understand what the “X” really means. And even more than that, does the “X” mean anything to you?? |
