Well, several people have had contact with the team today. Here are some of the notes received: "hey homebodies, Lonnie said the trip to the hotel took awhile. He also said some are already having stomach issues and asked for preyer for that. He mentioned how very different things are, but that all seems to be goig well. They were settling in to the hotel ok and were anxious to start their work tomorrow. that's all for now, mary mason" "Just talked to Tim. They will be sending you an e-mail later tonight. They had an awesome time at the church at Mazatenango. After that, they headed to Champerico. The hotel rooms weren't ready for them, so they went to the beach. Tim said the beach is great, the water is warm. They had lunch and then got to the hotel and had some time to relax and check out the pool. Three of the rooms do not have air-conditioning, but it cools off well at night. They had just finished a meeting to plan things for tomorrow. Tim said everyone is in good health. Jan Debold" Will post any email that might come from the team...they have not sent another one yet, so maybe they went on to bed...probably a big day tomorrow. |
